I think it was me. A guy makeing 50K, the median family income, has a 10,100 standard deduction for each dependent. A family of 4 has 40,400 in standard deductions. Add some charitible deductions, and home mortgage interest, and he aint paying much. Thing these guys are missing is how big a percentage of people are not making 100K. 2%? Not many.
