yup. i go closed shutters on mine & move snow, wont get off cold so I installed a 2.5" ball valve in lower hose & keep shut till i get to about 190-200 then SLOWLY open it just barely & it drops right down to 170 or so depending on air temp. if warm out it still works great to speed warm-up time. oil stays cleaner too. when below zero alot I can run an hour sometimes without even opening it if loaded light. then it cools much slower after shutdown too which helps prevent moisture condensing in those 2 huge holes.
