My 77 chevy pedal would go to the floor during hard braking.Brakes were fine otherwise.I put in a new master cylinder, that fixed it.The ford master cylinder is a wimpy looking thing.I hope you have been to a Ford dealer to get the fuse harness added to the cruise control power feed.The switch is not a stop lite switch,it interupts power to the cruise control.Took Ford 10 years to admit the switch was starting fires in trucks that were parked.Many caught fire on the road.If you have no fluid loss, change the master cylinder.Not a fun job, have the dealer do it if you have the bucks.
