That is inexcusable, in Canada you must pass tests to have a gun. We have what is called ACTS & PROVE.
ACTS A-Assume every firearm is loaded C-Control the muzzle direction at al times T-Trigger finger must be off the trigger and out of the guard. S-See that the firearm is unloaded"PROVE IT SAFE"
PROVE P-Point the firearm to the safest direction R-Remove all cartridges O-Observe the chamber V-Verify the feeding path E-Examine the bore

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
