BTW, my nephew was diagnosed with type 1 two days ago, so I can somewhat relate with you...........when his mother got him into the hosptial he wasn't far being gone...........
On the bright side he's now stabilized but will remain in hospital until early next week until the doctor is satisfied his sugars can remain stabil.............There'll definitely be some lifestyle changes and all of the family will need to be educated on how to deal with the disease..........
That being said, life will go on and that is the important thing!
