my day went pretty good, except for the "sunday curse" striking again. phrase was coined by a former employee, refers to cows waiting until sunday to have their calves. it adds 15 minutes easy to sunday morning milking, when we're already in a hurry to get done for church. i had 1 (ONE) cow due before the end of march. guess what happened this morning? at least it was a heifer calf. i just finished rebuilding the intake auger drive on my 353 grinder, using some of the components from my 352 parts grinder. those tanks hold a lot of buckets of grain, don't they?
