Biggest snowstorm of the year heading for most all of MN. Not looking forward to it at all. Cows are calf pretty steady right now. Averaging a calf born about every 36 hours or so. Got 5 inside the barn waiting, 2 that calfed today are insaide, 5 outside in a corral right next to the barn that could come any time, and 11 babies outside with their mothers near the loafing barn. There is a shelter for them to go in out there, just hope they do. About 25 more that are due in the next 2-4 weeks too. Supposed to get 12-16 inches of snow, then 40 mph winds, then the temps drop down to -18 by Wednesday morning. NASTY!!
