Think about a screw in the ventura area of a carburator. They can't come out or it would go into the engine and play havoc. How do they prevent this? They stake them to make sure that they don't. The only way to get them out is to take a die grinder and grind off the protruding threads and then they'll come out. ----L8R---Fred
