Is the weep line toward the center of the bottom? The answer your question, the port is an indicator as to whether the plunger and barrel have worn. If fuel is leaking past the plunger & barrel of the injector pump, it drains from the casing there. Don't panic if only a small amount drains from time to time, as this is needed to lubricate the injector pump, but if you are getting siziable amounts, or it is draining under pressure the plunger and barrel will need replacing. I doubt that you will want to do that yourself, but that is what the port(or line) is for.
