Do you know many farmers in the area? I know some say that that the auctioneer matters but here in North West Ky it don't make a dimes difference. There is not alot of outside money comeing in. It don't matter here if you use one of the two biggest out fits in the state or the small local guy who only has 3 sales a year. Yes the more adds on the net and in the fastline the more folks will show up, but "here" in my county there has only been about 5 folks who have bought 75% of production land at acution the last 5 years. They are the only ones that matter. They will show up if a sale just gets one little $20 add in the county paper.
Down there yes you might get some folks down from Louisville or up from Nashvagas. Not sure where it is but I know Mills in Scotsville puts on a good sale and does alot of adds. Larry Sanson also sells some farms down that way and clains to work cheap. Give him a shot.
