Steve, I'd go with a Ford 2N/9N/8N, 600/800 series or a Ferguson/Massey Ferguson because of the support issue. You can get parts/service for these machines. If they are not adequate, you can resell them to get your money back out with little or no depreciation. There is a reason that these little machines hold their value...it's called market demand. They have the 3 point hitches for which you can buy the new smaller implements readily at farm supply stores without messing around with big old junk. Think of this tractor as a tool to be used that needs to be adaptable as possible, afterall, you don't make a living on this property. My 2 cents worth.
