This one suprises me, we had a 1085 for a number of years. It wasn t the most comfortable to shift or operate tractor made, but we never had one once of trouble with it. That perkins darned near made fuel, the hyd were real strong. It was a great short tractor for on the haybine. The only reason I got rid of it was cause I needed more horsepower and couldn t afford to keep both tractors.
Maybe part of the reason we liked it was because it replaced a 3020 gas my dad had bought. It was one of those Dupont overhauls. I don t know if those gassers were bad tractors or not, but ours was always broke down. Motor issues, hyd problems. We put enough parts in that one to buy it twice over..

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
