I am for the ban. Cigarette smoke takes about 10 min. to give me a roaring headache and it makes James sick.
A little over a year ago, James and I went to an El Chico for dinner. We were in the no smoking section. They sat a group of 4 or 5 just across the railing from us and they immediately lit up. They were only a few feet from us even though we were in the no smoking section and they were in the smoking section. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. We've never gone back.
I think they have a ban in Dallas and several cities around here. Big hoorah about it, but don't know how it has affected the bars & restaurants.
