I usually do not get into these things but I feel I must throw this out. I am a smoker, have been for fifty years, that being said, I am not a fool! I know that smoking is a horrid addiction. Yes it is an addiction, worse than booze or pot and I have done my share of all of it. If there is anything better than a smoke with a beer or a cup of coffee God kept it for himself. With this new price increase I am going to try my best to quit these damn things. I also like to go to nice resturants and I like a good meal. I always go to the smoking section, as of yet their is not a state wide ban in Missouri. Their is always empty tables in the smokers section and I have never seen it fail that non smoking parents will drag their screaming running out of control children in there, instead of waiting for a table. Just like you, I would like to eat a meal in a pleasant atmosphere. That is one beef, the biggest one I guess is if they can impose a tax and also regulate how you use this taxed substance what next, fries, burgers, cokes, as we all know too much of these are bad for you. All you non smokers think about that the next time you are wolfing down some pork rinds or a big mac, knocking it back with a Coke.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
