I would check that pressure with a gauge. Maybe your relief valve needs adjusting, or a pump needs rebuilding. Like was mentioned, cyls of larger dia will be the easiest and cheapest method to get more lift, but at the expense of cycle time. If you're up against your relief valve setting, a boost pump will do nothing for you. Increasing the pressure could bring a whole host of problems, some of them dangerous. I would be leery of modifying a machine like this beyond its design specs. My stuff seems to fall apart fast enough without any additional help from me. Consider making smaller bales. An extra trip or two beats a broken loader or tractor. Bales are harder to lift anyway, because they are usually further from the pivot points of the loader arms, and therefore require more leverage. Also, posts are much easier to read with proper use of caps. :)
