I'm not familiar with the Massey 44, but you will be looking for "pull-type" implements, the kind meant to be hooked up to the rear drawbar and towed around the field by the tractor. Now, since you are a beginner, IF your tractor has a hydraulic system, you may find a plow or disc that raises out of the ground by means of a hydraulic cylinder. If not, then your plow will have a trip device on one wheel that 'catches' when you pull the rope and cogs its way out of the ground. Now for the very first of several safety lessons. Whatever style plow you get, be sure you get one that has a 'breakaway' hitch. If you hit an imbedded rock or tree root, it will separate from the tractor---that way you won't be pinned under the tractor. It will lurch forward, but it won't flip over backwards. And tie the trip rope with a slip knot, and not to the tractor seat-don't ask me how I know that.....
