"Good on ya," as they say, for bringing up the "clawback clause." A lot of those tax abatements given out in the past haven't paid off, and tthe county has no recourse. Buck told me about the Tower bldg/Lucas deal a couple months back, when I spent a day as one of the "official" observers at the recount. Of course, I've heard so many rumors about the Tower building since BEFORE they closed, everything from Honda to Toyota to Hyundai [before Hyundai decided NOT to go to E'town, they apparently decided NOT to come to Corydon first!], so I'm one of those folks who'll actually believe there's a deal until AFTER the ink is dry, and not before.
