Another suggestion. Cut a piece of old inner tube the same size as the bottom of the battery box. Put it under the new battery. If you have room used two pieces. A tractor really vibrates a battery and many times causes a shortened life from the mechanical stress. The rubber padding seems to help. Note: A "tractor battery" is rarely warranted for more 3 years, a "lawn mower" battery for no more than 2 but a "car" battery for up to 6. Think about the type of use each gets. The only one that rides in a vehicle with a suspension has by far the longest warranty.
