Most likely you have a defective oxygen sensor. It's relatively inexpensive and better than that, it's still under warranty. I would take it to my Chrysler dealer and have them run the diagnostic and test the sensor. They should be able to do it in about half an hour. If they want the car for a day, you're not getting good service.
