Local guy had an old smokehouse that he wanted to burn. It was real close to the house, and his wife wouldn't let him light it. One friday evening a neighborhood couple stopped by to visit, and the wimmin decided to run into town to pick up something. As soon as they were out of sight, Fred struck a match to the smokehouse. Things were going pretty good - using a couple garden hoses to keep it kinda under control. They failed to notice that the power line passed right over the smokehouse on the way to the meter. Line burned in two, and of course the pump quit. Like to burned the whole place up by the time the fire dept arrived. The wimmin followed the fire truck to the house. Much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.
