Some years ago I had a friend who was a commercial real estate salesman/developer. I once asked him about the value of a particular piece of real estate. He told me that it was worth, "whatever he could get for it". I imagine that a specialty item like the car you mentioned is worth "whatever you can get for it."
Having said that, I attended an estate auction about a year ago where they sold a late 1930's or early 1940 Chevy. Unrestored but solid. Engine ran, clutch worked. Car drove.
This was at an auction out in the country in Middle Tennessee. The car sold for something more than $25,000.00 (I don't remember the exact amount but I remember that it was more than $25,000.00.)
The key is going to be finding the right buyer, not just any buyer.
