Yeah, i wish i could find a nice 78 GMC Step-side pickup. I'd trade my computer controlled 97 Ranger for it! I had a six cylinder that would really run great and wasn't hard on gas, and was dependable. The Ranger cost me $100 just for a sensor that made a flashing light go out on the test computer for state inspection!! And now, the check engine light has just come on. Everything looks ok, so a piece of black tape will cover the light, if the battery trick doesn't work!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
