There are two things that can cause good batteries to go dead quickly. First, it is not being charged. Second, it is being drained while sitting. In the first case, check the charging system. You must be getting something around 14 volts at the positive battery terminal to charge a 12 volt battery. In the last case, check for shorts, accessories left on, etc. You can do this by removing the positive battery cable and inserting a 12 volt test light between the cable and positive battery post when the key is in the "off" position. If the light lights, even faintly, you have a short. Of course, you can use a multimeter to do this test. Good luck!
