Nope. When you set up the router it will ask for some security settings for your wireless. It will ask if you want WEP or some other level of encription. If you select WEP it will generate some keycodes that must be entered on the wireless computers network properties. Enable the security, get the codes and browse your wireless computers network connections. I should see your new Dlink but says it is a secured network. If you modify the properties of the wireless connection on the PC upstairs you should see a tab to put the access codes in.
