I'm thinking that handle will attract all his help to read this message, not the effect he wanted! :)
My new tractors are from the mid 1970's. My wife is the hired help. She chases me out of the tractor when she isn't on her real job. She's a lot neater than me, so washes the windows, too.
Came walking back to me last fall, almost in tears. She figured whe wrecked a tire, maybe more. She couldn't even tell me what she did, she was so upset.
When we got back to the setup, she had caught the brake a little hard, and turned too short on the end, put the dual into the hitch & jack pretty hard. As the dual is kinda low pressure, it pushed in the tread quite a bit. I got it unjacknifed, only damage was the little tin piece og the jack cover was deformed a bit.
A girlfriend of her's also likes to drive tractor or shell corn out of the crib, says it real stress relief from the regular job. She doesn't want anything, just putter with the farm stuff.
Can't complain about my help. :) My biggest problem is when they both are there & only one tractor to do any tillage - I gotta stay scarce so an argument doesn't break out. :)

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
