My boss and I went to a gun show yesterday.
There was a lot of stuff, one vendor had over 30 tables set up. He had over 50 AR style rifles available for sale, almost all were the .223 caliber, 1 Bushmaster in .450 cal and a Sigsauer in .223 for $2900--Ouch!. I didnt see any US made AR's for less then $1000. Most were $1050-$1,500 range. All brands too, BM, Panther, S & W. I saw some of the AK knock offs, for under $500, I wouldnt buy one of these. Some of the Ruger ranch rifles too.
Lots of knives, a few swords. Shotguns and regular rifles were somewhat plentiful. I didnt buy anything. The boss wants an AR-10---7.62 caliber. (there werent any for sale)
The boss bought an airsoft gun for his son, looks like an H-K MP5 machine gun, shoots rubber pellets in full auto mode, very fun. This "toy" was $75 with pellets. It will be a few years before I get one of these for my son. I can see my windows busted the cat dead and welts in my drywall with this thing.
Only thing I bought was a rifle case for my Armalite. My wish list is long but....I will wait until sales pick up at work.
