it is wired correct...only 12 when cranking...checks 7.5V when running...I can't understand how the points got this hot this quick...in 5 min. flat new points were blue & burnt a blister on my finger when I poped the cap...thanks for all the help but it's still not running...got [2] blaster coils for sale ....cheap....Kent
