Things do blow apart sometimes. I was around 14 and didn't have a compressor to blow up a tire on my 34 chevy, all we had was pump that was held down by your feet and a handle to pump. I think it took 200 strokes to air up a car tire. I thought I would speed things up a little and just use the vapor valve on Dad's butaine tank. I was on my knee's holding the hose on the valve stem. I guess I over pressured the tire and it blew out about 6 in from my tender parts. You think getting hit with a base ball hurts, you ain't felt hurt like I felt. stan
