personally i would tell him exactly what u told us and see what he sais if i were to sell them i would make sure a kid got it every neighborhood has a kid or too that is in love with farming and would be prouder than a peackock to get an old tractor that he or she worked hard and saved money to buy and fix up could also work out to get you some cheap help during the summer i got my first tractor when i was 15 a jd b that sat in a hedge row without spark plugs for 25 plus years the farmer i was working for was going through a divorce so couldnt afford to pay me much cash so i took it in trade every week i went and ordered parts as part of my wages her lawers couldnt say anything about spending money on tractor parts plus they had no clue it wasnt his tractor but any way it worked out great for both of us now im 27 and got 4 tractors just what i would do in your position
