Darrell, I bought a John Deere tractor off ebay one time and made out well with it. I had asked the guy many questions before I bought and talked to him on the phone a few times. It has been a good machine. The one thing to keep in mind here though, is this guy makes his living on his feedback rating. As he explained to me, he wants to be around selling for a long time and a few bad comments from people could really hurt that. I don't know that you will have that from an auction clearing house, that just gets machinery in and sends it on. Do you get to talk to the seller? Just wondering.
