i live about 23 miles from binghamton. it sure is a sad situation. details are still sketcy, but the civic assn deals with a lot of immigrant people. binghamton is in a decent area. usually, the biggest story of the day is somebody's house burned down, a wreck on one of the interstates, or the most recent layoffs.
