You don't see many of them but from a price stand point I wouldn't call them "rare".
I bought one 6 years ago for $250. It was complete except for lift cables and depth shoes on the blade. Made replacements, painted it and mounted it on a '48 B. A few years ago we had 24" in one storm and it did a great job with the B just loafing along in 1st gear. Put live hydraulics on the B last year which should make it a lot easier to plow with but didn't get enough snow this winter to use it.
