Yes it has to work on the dozer or other track vehicle concept where one track turn while the other stops to make turns. How they did it is unknown. You can see from the picture each track is hooked to a rear wheel spot but a ATV would not allow for steering with the rear end. Did they replace the whole rear end; or do they use brakes to stop one track and allow the spider gears to take up the slippage is also unknown.
This is a new product (patent pending)on the market. I found out about it from a ad in a local magazine. Their web site does show a video of one in action (gatorfoot.com) but does not have any details about operation or price. You can tell from watching the video that the steering is no longer part of the handle bars.
For me it sure looks like it is real tail heavy and may be susceptible to backwards flip over if put in the right situation. I guess that may or may not come about in future testing.
