It must have a warning light in the wire to #1 terminal (not to ground). A 3 amp 100piv diode will also do the trick, (put the band end of the diode toward the alternator).a 10 or 20 ohm 10 watt resistor will also work in the place of the diode. Do it and all is well. When the alternator runs, the #1 terminal is fed 12v from inside the Alt. This turns out the light by having 12v+ on bothe terminals of the bulb. The light cannot power the ignition. The diode stops the flow to the ignition, and the resistor acts like a light bulb like load. Choose one and do it, only one, not more. do not use a LED for the light. it needs to be the same as a side marker light bulb. JimN
