Casey, where abouts in Kentucky are you? If you are near Lexington, take it to C&M auto electric and have them test it. They will tell you if the alternator is good and what to look at next. We have a 6610 with the same set up and it has burned up 2 or 3 "battery temperature sensors" and those things are a pretty penny. Also, just to note, I haven't confirmed for sure, but I know the Lucas alternator out of an MGB (which has the same clocking as our Ford Lucas alternator) can be replaced with a Saturn alternator that is much more reliable, puts out more amps, and charges at lower RPMS. Do a google search or ebay search for MGB Alternator 96 amp.
