One thing to keep in mind is to keep on top of what's out there and what people need. You'll have 3 people call wanting a manifold for a "1926 Wambat" and one of them is willing to supply measurements. Do some research to see how many were made and still exist and what the potential market is. Too often you'll be told that something like this is 'not available anywhere at any price. Big money to be made right? No sense in tooling up to make hundreds of these when you find out you've talked to the owners of 3 of the 4 "1926 Wambats" that were ever made. Or you are told something isn't available at any price, then you find out it wasn't available at any price the one who made that statement was willing to pay. Anyhow if there was big money to be made doing anything like this, the Chinese are already doing it (and cheaper than you can think about it).
