Buzzman72 You are my brother in Christ, I thank the Lord a Few will show up sooner or later,
YOU are SURE RIGHT ... the Jews did not count a part of a day a full day, or part of the night a full night, according to Esther 4: 16 and 5: 1 or Samuel 30: 12, 13 and in Jonah 1: 17 you will find the expression "Three days and Three nights, not a part of a day or night.
Jesus said, in John 11: 9 ( are there not Twelve hours in a day-then there are 12 hours in a night,) and so, THREE Days and three nights comes to 72 Hours,
Jesus said, For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of Man be Three days and Three nights in the Heart of the Earth, Matt. 12: 40
Now if you use Common sense, you will see that from Friday to Sunday morning ( you have ONLY Two Nights )
Christ DID NOT rise from the Grave on Sunday morning, He arose from the grave late on Saturday afternoon. see Matt 28: 1 in the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn,(or approach) toward the First day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. Matt 28: 6 HE IS NOT HERE, for He is Risen as He Said.
The resurrection was NOT in the morning but at DUSK (Saturday Evening) at the Close of the Sabbath. Jewish day always began at SUNDOWN about 6 P.M. Leviticus 23: 32
Jesus Christ was crucified on Wednesday and His Body had to be placed in the Tomb before 6 P.M. on that day. Jesus Body remained in the Tomb through Thursday, (Night and Day) Friday, (Night and Day) Saturday, (Night and Day) and Raised from the dead Just as the Jewish Sunday was beginning Matt 28: 1 or what we now would call Saturday evening about 6 O'Clock P.M.
IN a Nut Shell: [Jesus ate the Passover in the First hours of Wednesday the 14th. day of Nisan just before 6 P.M. (we call this Tuesday night) He went to the Garden,,, was arrested -- Tried -- and the Next day, ( Wednesday the 14th of April) was Crucified the same Day in which he ate the Passover.
What time did He Die, ?? Luke 23: 44 - 46 "And it was about the Sixth Hour, and there was a Darkness over all the Earth, UNTIL the Ninth Hour, and when Jesus had cried with a Loud Voice, He Said, Father, unto they Hands I commend my Spirit, and having said thus, He gave up the Ghost.
Now when the Bible says the Ninth hour it means the ninth hour since the break of Day, (6 A.M.) 6 from 9 is 3 O'Clock.
Jesus was sacrificed at 9 o'Clock in the morning and Died for our Sins at 3 O'Clock that Wednesday afternoon and was buried the Same Day abaout 6 O'Clock
The use of the Word Easter is WRONG, it shoud be PASSOVER. MY LORD Jesus is my Savior... His Servant, MN JOE.

Today's Featured Article - When Push Comes to Shove - by Dave Patterson. When I was a “kid” (still am to a deree) about two I guess, my parents couldn’t find me one day. They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
