Steve - Shot of my daugher's pull at Churchville with my Super H... A few comments of my own: 1 - My daughter was the 1st puller in the "powder puff" division. She posed the same question about what comprises a stock tractor (She finished last with a bone stock tractor - the other 3 in her division were technically "stock plus" tractors. Would have been fun had there been more ladies running pure stock tractors...) Anyway it appears - and sounds - like stock plus machines are modified for higher compression (and probably higher displacement), have the governors tweaked for higher top RPMS, and based on the smell of the exhausts burn special fuels. BTW weight classes allow 200# for the driver. Thus a 6,500# class tractor can scale 6,700# with the driver aboard. 2 - I too enjoy seeing the unrestored tractors. I'm planning to bring one or two "working" vintage tractors in addition to my restored Farmalls to Churchville next year. 3 - Good comment about the number of Deere tractors there. Also about there not being any club presence other than for 2-cylinder. Gotta think there's enought red tractor enthusiasts around here to start up an IH collectors group. Maybe also A-C, Ford and Oliver???

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
