That big ol' 4.6 V8! I know, not exactly the ideal towing engine. It does like to spin fast though... Put 4 yards of dirt on the trailer (6X12 tandem) and you wont want any less than 2500 RPM! Mulch isn't quite as bad.
1st gear is the main hangup here. I gotta ride the clutch for at least 3-4 seconds with a heavy load if I start from a standstill on level ground. Might as well forget a hill.
