I have a small cow/calf operation on 150 acres of hills and woods. I have a little over 20 acres of hay that I put up in square bales.
My bunch of equipment is not nearly as extensive, nearly as big, nearly as complicated, or nearly as expensive as most mid-west farmers. But I swear, every dang thing on my farm (including myself) is in some greater or lesser state of disrepair. The front end of my Ford 2000 tractor is spread all over one bay of my machine shed right now getting a rebuild of the front axle pin/housing. etc. etc.
Sometimes I wonder why in the world I mess with this old stuff. I lose money almost every year on my farm operation. But then, one day happens when things go right, and I decide I'll just keep going until I can't go any more.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
