On Saturday April 18, 2009, my wife and I attended a Plow Day at Vevay,Indiana that was put on by the Switzerland Co. Tractor & Engine Club. It's called the Johnny Andrew Memorial FUN DAY. Since we live at Reynoldsburg, Ohio it was about 180 miles one way for us to attend. We had to leave at 6am and arrived there about 10am. When we arrived at the Johnny Andrew's Farm, the club members greeted us and assisted me unloading our tractor and plow. We took our 1946 Massey Harris Model 81 row crop and our steel wheeled Moline plow.(2 bottoms 14 inch) This was our first time attending a plow day and the first time trying to plow with our tractor and plow. We had a great time and everyone was very helpful. My first run was tough and I must say thanks to those who waited while I made adjustments to the tractor and plow. About 25 tractors were plowing and about noon we stopped for lunch. The food was delicious and we enjoyed meeting new friends. Then it was back to plowing. About 3 pm, we decided to start loading and left about 4pm. The Club assisted in loading the plow and we thanked everyone for their assistance. We plan to attend again next year.

I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
