Well, lets see here... If a couple suits came to your place, said the only reason your place was still standing and your family alive was because they'd stopped some bad guys, and there were more bad guys coming that they hadn't stopped yet, but they couldn't say any more, couldn't publicly prosecute the bad guys because it'd prevent them stopping the rest of the bad guys, and they wanted support for protecting you, you'd think "protection racket!!" If you looked uncertain they'd say "...your place is still standing, you haven't been attacked; that's proof we've been protecting you..." Just think about it a little.
