CCer is that what it was--I thought I had a cop car cause it had a HUGE generator. Your right Cheap Cornet 2 door badge was D-500 engine was the chyrsler 325 hemi and it was strong. How do I know it was 325? cause it had to rebuild it. Favorite car was the 1962 300H. 413 wedge head with in-line twin AFB's made 390 hp and got 14 mpg no matter how I drove it. I finally set it up with the primaries openiong together. REALLY strong car. Ran best with some weight in the rear and I know the speedo could be pegged. Anyone remember what that was? One story--raced a guy from Bellingham, Wa to Edmonds, Wa with the car loaded with camping gear and a blown piston. Beat him easy. Somewhere along the line a 1/2 inch chunck of a piston went away and she began to smoke but since we weren't much over 100mph didn't notice any power loss.
