I was scoping out an IH 806 when someone walked in and swore up and down that they'd buy it in the next couple weeks. I asked if he had put a down payment on it, answer was no, but by honour alone he said he'd have to give him the benefit of the doubt... at least for a week. I've always been of the mind that money talks. Have any of you been in this situation where your money wasn't as good as someone else's word? It would have been nice to have some cheap horsepower around our farm. Oh well.
