As much as I enjoy arguing with perpetual motion fans, it's starting to get old.
B&D made the comment a few days ago that there's something seriously wrong with our education system if a person can get a high school diploma and still not understand fundamental concepts like force, work and energy.
I have to ask the question: Where did you all get your education? I'm a product of the Colorado public school system, and physics was beaten into me. I can recall at least four classes between elementary school and high school graduation that covered these concepts.
Seriously, everbody: Where did you go to school and did you get any physics in the twelve years you were there?
