Pretty rare to find a gas engine that turns CCW. The general standard for engine rotation is the engine is veiwed looking at the 'front' or water pump end. The flywheel end is the 'rear'. Fans can be confusing as to push or pull on industrial equipment. I have a Hobart G-3010 engine drive welder with a Chrysler 225 slant 6 engine. The rotation is obviously CW and the fan pushes the air out thru the radiator. Presumably this is done to pull cool air in thru the rear of the unit over the generator sets then the engine. On a rear engine grader it's likely done to force the hot air out the back away from the operator station.
