Farmall Cub won't start!

I have a Farmall Cub that I put a new carb. on this summer, was running fine, has new spark plugs and points & condenser, put new coil on last summer. Just started to run really rough when blades are turned on. It's attempting to start now, but won't. Had a few people listen to it that tinker with tractors, they both feel its in the ignition someplace. Any ideas of where to start?? Just bought another tractor, don't want to sink a lot of $$ in this if not necessary since I'm going to sell it. thanks for anyones help.
