Perhaps I'm missing something here, but without a year, paint condition etc, you could also ask if anyone saw your cat. Get as much detail as you can, when, where you live so we could perhaps guess the direction of travel etc.
Ther is seldon any antiqu tractors moved through my home town (Garnavillo on HWY 52( that goes without discusion.
Remember the cops have absolutly no idea what a JD B even looks like or even what color the cab or front wheel assist looks like.

Year, styled, paint condition, beauty marks, tire condition, stuck motor, seat condition, how long ago was it missing, tire size, tread pattern, greasy tail feathers? cultivator or loader brackets, wheel weights, cast rears or steel rears, cut offss spoked front and back. SN/ do the rear tires match? Is there a decal with a (B) on it?
If all else fails point to a picture on this web site etc. that is simalar. I've been around old tractors alot, but can't tell the exact year without thinking real hard.
