There are some folks out there who will rant and rave that there is no such thing as an accident, that most of these incidents are the result of either carelessness or negligence on the part of one party or another.
I don't subscribe to that theory. While a large number of what we call accidents CAN be prevented, there are some cases in which exercising due dilligence will NOT change the outcome. We need to STAY aware that some activities, such as farming, have inherent dangers, and always be on the alert for dangerous situations. On the occasions in which even those sort of measures fail, we can only pray for the victims and their families.
