Best bet: Take I-78 west to Harrisburg, Pa. From there, you can tour the Amish farm country, and lots of other stuff to see, especially the Railroad museum at Strasburg, Pa. From Harrisburg, you can either take the Pa. Turnpike west to upper Ohio, north of Pittsburgh downtown about 25 miles or so. Or, take the scenic route, Rt. 22 West to Pittsburgh, and on into Ohio. On return trip, from Parkersburgh, W.Va. take Rte 50 East to Winchester, to Rte 81/78East. Or, go to 15 north to Gettysburg, Pa., to rte 30 East, to York, Lancaster, Reading, in Pa., to Allentown/Rte 78 East to NY, NJ. Lots to see. visit the Harley Davidson factory in York, Pa. South Pennsylvania has lots to see there, too. Enjoy the trip! I've been all over the area, and there's lots to see!
